During the first project meeting in Marseille, we put together the results of our research about Social Impact Projects (SIP).
The milestone of the meeting?
THE PEDAGOGY ROADMAP: a theoretical framework to understand SIPs, their structure and the concepts that will guide the development of more practical materials within the RISIV project.
During the second project meeting in Cyprus, we planned the content development of two training materials:
1. Youth worker´s handbook for SIPs: Curriculum
2. Youth leader resource pack about SIPs: Genially
The milestone of the meeting?
We organized two training activities, in which we would work on the topic of SIPs with youth workers and youth leaders, who would actively contribute to co-create the abovementioned materials.
During the training course in Spain, we worked for a week with youth workers from every country on the development of the Youth worker´s handbook. We trained them on the development of SIP and on how to motivate their youth and empower them to become youth leaders.
The milestone of the meeting?
THE YOUTH WORKER´S HANDBOOK FOR SIPs: A curriculum of competences that are gained throughout SIPs and a compillation of methods for youth workers to train themselves on how to be a good facilitator, how to promote youth participation and how to structure the SIP learning parth.
During the training course in Portugal, we worked for a week with young people on the development of the Youth leader´s resource pack. We trained them on basic skills in project management, communication, needs assessment in relation with social impact projects.
The milestone of the meeting?
THE YOUTH LEADER´S RESOURCE PACK ABOUT SIPs: an interactive toolkit that complies theoretical and practical information for youth leaders to learn about SIPs.
During the fourth project meeting in London, we worked on planning the development of an online platform that will serve youth workers continue their training on SIPs. This material will be presented as a journey, through which the youth worker will be able to gain more practical tools to support young people on this matter.
The milestone of the meeting?
YOUTH WORKERS´ JOURNEY TO SIPs: an online platform that will visually offer practical materials, such as methods, templates, etc, for youth workers to support youth leaders on the implementation of SIPs.
